Every location is a new test for your eyes: evening streets, cozy cafés and puzzling rooms where nothing is there by accident. In one scene a Golden Retriever rests on cobblestones in front of an open door. Another shows a white stone bridge with a single arch over a canal, with a dark wooden boat moored beside it. A third takes you indoors to a room with a black grand piano, a big wooden double bass and shelves full of books.

There’s more than searching, too. The coins and trophies you earn can be spent on outfits for the main character, who has several dresses to choose from. The story is enjoyable to follow, and the music does a lot to set the mood from start to finish.
