About Driftbound: Race in the Grip of Drift!

Driftbound: Race in the Grip of Drift! is an arcade racer that swaps the brake pedal for a magnetic hook. As you reach a corner, you latch onto a glowing magnet beside the road and let it swing your car around the bend, so every sharp turn comes down to when you grab on and when you let go. The roads are generated fresh on each run, mixing bridges, intersections, shifting weather and tricky turns.

The scenery changes as you drive. In one spot a small red and white windmill with four sails and a stone base stands near a curve. Elsewhere a house with a blue roof, a little front porch and steps sits right next to the track, and one area has a green tractor pulling a yellow trailer loaded with four round golden bales, parked on a wooden platform.

How to Play

Your car speeds up on its own, so all your attention goes to staying on the road, avoiding crashes and picking up cash. Getting through each turn with the hook is the skill the whole game is built on.

  • Hold the hook control as you approach a turn to attach to the glowing magnet.
  • Keep holding to swing your car around the corner.
  • Let go at the right moment to carry on down the road.

Game Modes
